While I collaborate closely with florists and wedding planners, I am neither a florist nor a planner myself, my expertise lies purely in styling and decorative details that complement and enhance their work. I specialise in unique designs that reflect individual style and taste, ensuring every event looks effortlessly cohesive and beautifully curated. What truly sets my work apart is my curated collection of handpicked vintage and timeless props. These pieces don’t just fill a space, they tell a story, adding layers of meaning, character, and timeless elegance to any celebration.

MEET DEBORAH
Hello! I’m Deborah
My route to wedding styling has been anything but ordinary. I began in the world of dance and theatre, where I became fascinated by how spaces and lighting shape mood and tell a story. Later, I managed my family’s hair salon while studying events and hospitality. Over time, that blend of creativity, storytelling, and design led me, quite naturally, to weddings.
I started my styling journey alongside Janet Wilde of Wilde & Romantic in the Lake District. When Janet retired, I had the honour of continuing the beautiful business she began. Today, I offer freelance styling support for florists and planners, along with bespoke styling and prop hire for couples and creative professionals.
Whether I’m setting a table, styling florals, or sourcing the right finishing touches, I work quietly behind the scenes to ensure every detail feels just right, thoughtful, refined, and true to your vision.

MY VALUES
Nature is both my muse and my guide. My commitment to the environment shapes everything I do, driving me to operate in harmony with our planet and to continuously seek more sustainable practices. I am committed to supporting the local economy and preserving the rich cultural heritage of our community. My studio is in the Lake District, Cumbria and I collaborate with local independent businesses, florists, artisans and craftspeople whenever I can.
-Most of the items in my hire collection are either vintage, refurbished, or crafted from natural materials. I am mindful of my responsibility to prioritise ethical, sustainable practices and I am committed to partnering only with suppliers who uphold these same values.
-I have minimised the use of single-use plastics where possible.
-I think that recycling is really important and have made it as easy as possible to do this within the studio by providing bins for different recyclable elements.
-Wherever possible I collaborate with florists who source beautiful, seasonal British flowers and have close relationships with a number of like-minded suppliers.
- I never use floral foam, which is made of non-biodegradable micro-plastics.
-Growing plants are frequently used in my work. These are always repurposed by myself and my clients.
